The Prophetic

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT THE GIFT OF PROPHECY

Now concerning gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware... Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercize them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith... Pursue love, yet desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy... One who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation... Whoever speaks, let him speak, as it were, the utterances of God.
(1 Corinthinas 12:1; Romans 12:6; 1 Corinthians 14:1,3; 1 Peter 4:12)

"He who has an ear let him hear, what the Spirit says to the churches." Revelation 2:7

RESPONDING TO A PROPHETIC WORD - In Paul’s letter to his spiritual son Timothy, he wrote:

"Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well." (1 Timothy 1:18)

Some prophetic words are given, not just for comfort and encouragement at the moment, but to arm us with truth, spoken to our personal need and situation. These words from the Spirit of God can enable us to resist the enemy, overcome him, walk in the Father’s provision and do his will. These prophetic words we need to remember, understand and apply so that we break through into the promises of God.

Destroying the False Mirror of Shame - Given June 22nd,  2025

I am removing from you the false mirror that says, “Shame, shame on you!” I am destroying the image that the liar puts before you. For you are not that person, you have chosen me. I am destroying that false image of who you are. Instead, you will see My face saying, “You have chosen Me, My son, My daughter, and I am pleased with you. You are pure in My sight because of My blood.”

I am destroying your affinity with shame. I am destroying the turning of your head and your ears when shame speaks. When unholy shame as a thief comes – know that I'm building in you My grace, so that you will turn and see My face saying, “You chose Me, My beloved, and I am yours and you are Mine, and I am pleased. I am pleased and I delight in you.” And you will learn to walk as a son and as a daughter.

And when you fall? For all of My children fall, but they get right back up. And when they fall, they say, “Oh God, I hate this!” and they turn from it. Now that's healthy, that's healthy, that's healthy. That's good!

But you will not bear a stigma of false shame. You will not listen to it; you will not look at it. It is a thief, it is a liar, it is a murderer, and I'm removing it from you. And instead, O My beloved, you will see Me with you all the time, empowering you. I died so that I could commune with you moment by moment. I bore your shame and bore it away so that, moment by moment, I can be yours, and you can be Mine.

And look, My beloved - My Father and your Father! Hear his voice, that he's pleased with you. You're his child. Now look up at the Father and surrender to his acceptance. He has accepted you. Surrender! Surrender to the truth that he's totally your Father.

I’m teaching you to know him and to know his heart. See, I have ability and authority to destroy and shatter, beyond use, that false image, that false mirror that comes from the enemy, that false image of shame. I have the ability and the authority to do it.

Listen to My voice. That's how you grow, that's how you overcome your problems in your things, and even sin, by hearing My voice. I love you, I love you, you are Mine.
